I'm excited to continue learning and making.
In a world where technology is essential, I hope to design products that are ethical, intelligent, and tackle problems in creative ways.
I'm particularly interested in exploring technology that empowers and encourages other people to collaborate, explore, and create!
My name's Haley.
I'm a UX Designer and student in Georgia Tech's MS-HCI program. I graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor's in Computational Media in December 2020. I also currently work at Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) as a UX Designer.
I've always had an interest in design.
Since I was a kid, I've loved to create art. One of my favorite ways to pass the time is with painting!
I want my designs to be more than just pretty.
Growing up, I watched people I cared about struggle to use technology for various reasons - age, accessibility, or just poor design! I wondered if I could use my design abilities to make a difference.
I also love creating in collaborative environments!
I've worked at Georgia Tech's Invention Studio helping students build physical prototypes, and I currently work with my master's program media team to design visual marketing materials. I love getting hands on with other people and collaborating on unusual challenges!
I like exploring new mediums.
Woodworking, sewing, electronics - I love to explore new materials when creating! One of my favorite memories is designing and building a resin-inlay table at the Invention Studio.
